CONNECTING PEOPLE TO GOD

The centre of who we are and what we do is faith, hope and love. It’s super simple… We have faith in a God who is close to us, always. We have hope that no matter how messed up things get, our God will work everything out for good. And we have a love that comes from God, enabling us to love each other as a community.

Our goal is to support people from all walks of life to grow deeper in their relationship with God. Our services are Bible-based and Holy Spirit empowered with dynamic messages and powerful worship. 

We hope that you will find life, community and friendship at your local C3. We meet every day of the week at Church services, dinner parties, connect groups, prayer meetings, life courses and outreaches across Sydney.

Our Story

In 1980, Phil and Chris Pringle moved from New Zealand to Sydney to start a Church with a passion for Jesus and a desire to see this world won for Christ. Starting from scratch, just 12 people attended the very first service on Easter Sunday at Dee Why Surf Club, but with that service, C3 Church was birthed.

Phil and Chris had a vision of creating a contemporary church with vibrant music and relevant messages. This resonated with people and a crowd of people that hadn’t felt connected to Church started attending. Week by week, the altar call would be filled with people wanting to meet and experience Christ. The vision was growing.

After expanding into a Brookvale warehouse, Phil and Chris sent much-loved friends and like-minded Church builders out to plant Churches around the country and around the world, beginning the C3 Global movement.

In 1990, a patch of paddocks was transformed into the state-of-the-art venue that now exists at Oxford Falls. Each weekend it now hosts thousands of people in kids, youth and adult services. Under the leadership of Ps Phil and Chris further locations have been established at Silverwater,  Parramatta, Avalon, Manly, Mosman and Wahroonga, working together to see Sydney, a city for Christ.

Ps Phil is passionate about building faith-filled, anointed churches that are motivated to reach the lost and make disciples. His leadership empowers local churches to thrive in their community through functioning in the power of the Holy Spirit and feeding on the Word of God.

Mama Chris, as she is affectionately known, brings life, revelation, healing and joy. She leads the Everywoman ministry at C3 Church and champions women everywhere to live in 'full flight.' Everyone who experiences her ministry will find themselves inspired, encouraged and changed.

After 40 years of ministry here in Sydney, Pastors Phil and Chris will be stepping into leading our Global Movement full time, and transitioning leadership of C3 SYD to Pastors Alex and Jessen Lee in November 2021.

Alex and Jessen Lee

 

Alex & Jessen have been serving as Location Pastors of C3 SYD Silverwater for the past 2 years as well as our Youth & Young Adults Pastors for the last 10 years. Alex has also been serving on our Executive leadership team for over 2 years.

Together they have seen significant health and growth, helping people come to Know Jesus, Find community and Discover their purpose. They have been responsible for raising many of our future leaders who are now positioned in key leadership roles across C3 SYD. 

Alex is a dynamic and gifted preacher, and actively uses his giftings of faith, prophecy and healing to empower the local church. He is prolific in developing, activating and releasing leaders to not only build the Local church but to lead in all spheres of life. Alex embodies a pastor’s heart, with a great respect and love for people. 

Jessen operates in a strong pastoral and prophetic gifting. She communicates with wisdom & speaks prophetically in her ministry. She is a gifted developer of people, helping them to see who they are and what they can do to serve God and to serve others. Jessen’s gifting in the creative space gives her the ability to develop fellow creatives to build the local church and bring excellence into the house of God. 

Alex & Jessen’s ministry is marked by the leading and moving of the Holy Spirit, the service of others, discipline & a heart for community. With their love for Life and Jesus they never fail to bring joy, life and healing to whomever they encounter.
