Welcome to C3 SYD Kids!
Our vision for C3 SYD Kids is that kids would love Jesus, make friends and be kind.
Our heart is to encourage and lead kids into a meaningful relationship with God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We aim to see kids make great friendships in church; in an environment of fun that builds both faith and friendship. We believe that showing love to others, begins with showing great, brave kindness, and in doing so, kids will discover their God-given voice and purpose!

Primary
Roll Call
Our primary program, “Roll call”, will focus on helping kids grow in their understanding of who God is. Through exploring God’s names and attributes found in the bible, children will discover His character, His love for us, and His greatness.
They’ll learn that God is our Father, Creator, Refuge, Strength, and King – The one true God we worship and glorify.
Our repeated phrase is: Our God is the one true God, the name above all names.
Our repeated memory verse is: “There is no one like you, Lod, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.” – 1 Chronicles 17:20

Pre-School
Back to Basics
This term, our preschool program “Back to the Basics” will introduce children to three key foundations of faith: the Word, Church, and Prayer. By learning to read the Bible, be part of church life, and talk with God through prayer, we believe our preschoolers will begin strong spiritual habits.
Our repeated phrase is: God has given us everything we need to follow Him – in the Word, Church and Prayer!
Our Memory Verse is: I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lords” – Psalm 122:1 (NLT)

Our Promise
C3 SYD is committed to providing a child-safe and child-friendly environment for all who attend our services and mid-week meetings. We aim to ensure that children, families and staff have a safe and fun place to engage in Godly and meaningful relationships, receive and provide ministry and grow in their walk with Jesus. The C3 SYD Child Safe framework has been set in place to safeguard under 18’s in attendance, as well as those who provide leadership and those who serve on teams.

What kids services do you offer?
Our kids services are for kids in bubs through to Year 6.
Bubs (1 – 2 years)
Preschool (3 – 5 years)
Primary (5 – 12 years)
What will my child be learning?
We have created a four-year program for primary and two-year program for preschool, designed to introduce your child to the persons of God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The programs are designed so that by the end of your child’s time in kids church, they will have been given a general understanding of the whole bible.
Can my kids stay together in the same age group in kids church?
While we understand the wish to keep your kids together, we have found that every child copes a lot better and has significantly more fun when they are in their appropriate age group. We have found that it is more likely for your child to experience anxiety or distress if they are in a program that is outside of their age bracket, even with their sibling by their side. We are committed to making sure everybody is safe and happy in our service and will devote team to settling your child, should they be anxious.
We hold it in high priority to let you know if your child isn’t settling after 15 minutes or if they have any other upsets in our program. We also comply to strict codes involving the ratio of team to kids, which is another big reason why we don’t allow kids into a program that isn’t for their age.
What should my child bring to kids church?
We ask preschool parents to bring a water bottle that is clearly labelled with the child’s name, however water is available as needed. Parents will also be communicated to prior to any special services and events we have throughout the year. To encourage good behaviour and engagement, we do not allow kids to bring or use devices during service times.
How does your Check in & Check out process work?
When you arrive, our friendly C3 SYD Kids team will be available to assist you in checking in your child. You will be asked to fill out a visitor form that will provide us with the appropriate information. Through our system, we then print a name tag with a pick-up code for your child to wear and a matching pick-up code for you, which you must present on pick-up.
What are your procedures for keeping children safe and accounted for?
For the safety of both the leader and child, a minimum of two leaders are present with a child or group of children. The below ratios are in accordance with our C3 SYD Kids Policy.
1 years (bubs) 1:4
2 years (bubs) 1:6
3 – 5 years (preschool) 1:8
5 – 12 years (primary) 1:10
What is your policy regarding photography and media?
Only C3 SYD photography teams and C3 SYD Church staff are allowed to photograph children in kids services. These images may be used on official C3 SYD social media platforms only. If you would prefer that your child not be photographed, please advise the C3 SYD Kids check-in team when you arrive to check in your child.
