Q2 Impact Report
We are excited to share our Q2 Vision Builders Impact Update. A celebration of the incredible
things God is doing through your generosity across Sydney, throughout Australia, and around the globe.
Thank you for your continued faith, sacrifice, and commitment to building the future.
Bringing Hope to Families
Under our Sydney pillar, our vision is to see thriving families across our city and, as part of that, to see an end to domestic violence. One of the most significant ways we contribute to this long- term transformation is through our SRE (Special Religious Education) program.
Every week, our trained Scripture teachers step into over 10 primary and high schools, reaching close to 750 students with the truth and beauty of the gospel. This Christmas, we also had the privilege of blessing over 25 unchurched families with Christmas gifts, extending care beyond the classroom.
We want to honour our incredible Scripture teaching team, led by Jacqui Mikac, for their faithfulness and dedication. Research consistently shows that most people who come to faith make that decision during their child and teenage years, which highlights just how vital this ministry is.
We invite you to continue praying for the young people of our city. Reaching them today shapes families, and entire communities, for generations to come.
As we look ahead to 2026, we are seeking to expand our SRE team. If you feel called to invest in the next generation in this way, you can express your interest by completing our team interest form HERE

Strengthening Regional and Remote Communities
Our vision for Australia is to see God move powerfully in the remote and rural regions of our nation.
This quarter, we were able to invest in the work of Hope Community Church in Condobolin. Recently, some of our team travelled to Condobolin to deliver and install a brand-new sound system for their church. While there, they also ran training sessions for the team and participated in their Sunday service; worshipping together, encouraging leaders, and witnessing firsthand what God is building in the heart of regional Australia.
Your generosity is enabling churches like Hope Community to reach their local towns and bring hope and new life to their entire region.
We also received a greeting from Sharon, the pastor of Hope Community Church, which you can watch in the video above.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that we will be organising a larger missions trip to Condobolin in 2026, creating more opportunities for our church to serve, strengthen, and support this incredible community.
Systemic Transformation in the Heart of Africa
Globally, our vision is to see a cultural transformation in the next generation across Africa. We continue our partnership with International Justice Mission (IJM), who are doing vital work in Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana, combating modern slavery and confronting violence against women and children.
The reality is devastating. In Uganda alone:
•35% of girls experience sexual violence before age 18.
•45% of married women suffer violence at the hands of their husbands.
Yet through IJM and their local partners, hope is rising. One powerful example is the story of Sawiya, a woman from northern Uganda. After reporting her abusive partner, she faced threats, intimidation, and a system unable or unwilling to help. In her words, she said “a part of me was lost.”
Everything changed in 2022 when she attended a gathering of women in Gulu led by an IJM social worker. There, she discovered a community of women who had endured similar experiences but were choosing to stand together for justice.
Sawiya joined the group, now known as the Gulu Giants, and was soon appointed president. Since then, she has spoken on local, national, and international platforms, advocating for stronger protection for women and children.
Her story is a powerful reminder of how your generosity is helping bring freedom, justice, and dignity to some of the world’s most vulnerable.Every one of these numbers represents real people and real lives transformed, families reunited, dignity restored, and communities made safer.
Creating Spaces That Help Kids Know Jesus
It has been an incredible year since the opening of our new Kids facility at the Northern Beaches location. We continue to hear amazing stories of families connecting, children thriving, and young hearts growing in their relationship with God.
At our Central West location, planning is progressing steadily. Our architect is now preparing dimensioned plans, and we’re forming a shortlist of engineering and service consultants as we move into the next phase of upgrades.
We are committed to creating world-class environments that help raise a generation who know, love, and follow Jesus.
Preparing for Future Expansion
As part of our Buildings pillar, we have been working hard throughout the year to reduce operating expenses and position our church for future growth, including the eventual purchase of new facilities for our Upper and Lower North Shore locations.
We are also thrilled to share a significant breakthrough. The government recently approached us regarding a compulsory acquisition of a small portion of land on the side of our Northern Beaches property. Their initial offer was $180,000, but after a series of negotiations, the final agreed amount is $390,000. This is a major step forward and a meaningful contribution toward our future expansion goals.
To help us navigate this season wisely, we have now formed an Acquisition Team consisting of Paul Macken, Mark Greise, and Tony Moylan. Their expertise will guide us as we prepare for the opportunities ahead.
