Why Does Beyond Exist?
C3 is a church planting movement and Beyond works hand in hand with our vision for church growth. Therefore where C3 Churches are located, or are to be located, primarily determines where our Beyond ministry will be.
We aim to have a long term impact/relationship with the people we help. We seek to empower those we help, that is, not just a hand out but a hand up. These aims form our basic criteria for selecting where we help, who we help, and how we help.
We can do this together.
When Jesus said “lift up your eyes” in John 4:35 the disciples were about to eat lunch. They were looking at what would satisfy their hunger and Jesus used this moment to make a point that His food is to do the will of God and this will bring lasting satisfaction. The surest way to satisfy your life is to look beyond your needs to meet the needs of others.
This is also the surest way to live a prosperous and blessed life. ‘Seek first the Kingdom of God’ or, as the NLT says, ‘make the kingdom of God your primary concern’ and God promises ‘all things shall be added to you’.
