What does it mean for you to give to a vision that is above and beyond your own?

For me, giving is so freeing. It releases me from a mindset that can sometimes get a little too introspective, and instead fixes my eyes onto a vision that is greater than my own. I think that to honour the vision of my church is to honour God and where he has placed me. I love being a part of something that can achieve so many bigger and greater things for God than I ever could on my own!

What would you say to encourage anyone thinking about giving to Vision Builders?

I would encourage anyone thinking about giving to Vision Builders that it’s not about meeting a certain amount or standard, and it’s definitely not about just ‘doing what everyone else is doing’ – it’s about revelation. I don’t feel obligated to give, but I feel compelled by the cause and by God’s heart for generosity and for the Church.

How does the church reaching out into the community and overseas with the good news of Jesus impact your life and giving?

I love seeing everything that our church is doing to reach out into the community and overseas with the love of God. To know that I am a part of something that meets the practical needs of a broken and needy world, with no hidden agenda, makes me proud of my church and grateful to God for the opportunity to give.
