HOW TO JOIN A ZOOM MEETING

We are excited to be able to stay connected online! We will be hosting our weekly prayer meetings and team huddles on Zoom so we can still gather and pray together!

Your connect leader may also choose to use ZOOM to run connect meetings online.

The basic steps for joining a ZOOM meeting are:

  1. Your location/connect leader will provide you with a link/URL to access the meeting
  2. You will not be able to access the meeting until the set time (e.g. 6pm Tuesday for Oxford Falls location Prayer Meeting)

We will now go through the steps in more detail below:

HOW TO ACCESS ZOOM FROM YOUR COMPUTER

Firstly, we recommend using Google Crome as your web browser as it supports the Audio software. 

STEP ONE

Join URL: https://zoom.us/j/616992029

*Please note: this is a test link. There will be a unique link for each meeting. If the meeting is re-occuring such as Tuesday night prayer and Team Huddles, you can use the same link each week.

The unique URL for your meeting may have been sent to you in an email or text.  If you received it as a text message, you can type the URL into the search line in your web browser.

STEP TWO

Select the option to join via your web browser.

STEP THREE

Enter your name, this will be visible to others in the meeting.

STEP FOUR

Please wait while the meeting host gives you access.

STEP FIVE

Select join 'Audio by computer'.

STEP SIX

You've done it! Enjoy the meeting.

Please note: for larger meetings, the meeting host may mute other members so that there are not multiple people talking at once.
