Walking in Christ, inside your  workplace, is of paramount importance if we are to deliver the Word into an environment that has so much influence on not only individual lives, but on teams of people, organisations and even countries. Having his presence in your workplace will deliver you results that alone you have little chance of delivering. Walking with God in the marketplace will not only build your confidence and ability to achieve above and beyond the norm, but it will assist you in bringing those lost to the Kingdom.

Some thoughts for all Christians engaged in the marketplace:

Begin your day with Prayer so that you can maintain a peaceful outlook and not start your day with negative thoughts.

Often those of us in the marketplace are crippled with challenges that create anxiety and grief. In these times remember, Psalm 5:3 “In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly”.

Faith is key in business to ensure a lifetime of happiness and success.

We need to apply that faith each day in the marketplace. As believers it is important that we witness to non-believers what God has done for us. You will encounter those that will be critical and even those that will talk you down. Realise you don’t have to handle these difficult and critical people on your own. Lean on Christ. God will bless you right in front of them.

Running your business or holding down a senior executive role in the marketplace is not easy.

You will be challenged many times. There will be days that you will even stumble, but remember God will always be there to catch you & lift you back up. Remember Psalm 37:23-24 “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand”.

Stop during your working day and thank God.

Thank God not only for your health, family and income but for giving you the ability to bring wise words to those that are in need.
